SINGING CASTLE 3D short film

Inspired by a folk tale, the animated film "Singing Castle" addresses the classic themes of humility and goodwill. Only with a pure heart can the protagonist play the innocent melody that awakens the sleeping castle, earning a reward of golden walnuts.
The story will be enriched with an environmental narrative and a meticulously crafted folk-fantasy world, brought to life through 3D animation techniques and hand-painted textures on characters and backgrounds.

The film is a co-production with RTV Slovenia and the Armenian studio ArtStep Studio, and is part of the "Balkan Fairy Tales" project, which aims to adapt folk tales from Balkan countries into animated films. This co-production enables us to elevate the animation to a high standard and present it internationally. We are keeping our fingers crossed for additional financial support to further refine the film.

We aim to present viewers with something inherently Slavic/Slovenian, reflected in the visual design and character conception, as well as in the storytelling approach.
