The animated film "Black Yarn" takes us to 17th-century Ljubljana, shrouded in mist, superstition, and the tension of witch hunts. Two hunters find themselves on the trail of a mysterious witch and her loyal black cat, Baltazar. Their adventure, filled with unexpected twists and comedic moments, reveals that things are not always as they seem.

The story is enriched by a folkloric fantasy world, while the animation will be crafted in 3D with meticulous attention to detail, capturing the unique atmosphere of Ljubljana from that era.
We aim to bring a piece of Slovenian heritage closer to audiences in an action-packed animated format.

The film is a co-production with RTV Slovenia, supported by the Slovenian Film Centre.
