The new animated comedy series The Lost Bots will be realized in collaboration with the award-winning English partner CAKE Productions.
As a specialist in children's content with his diverse quality program (Angelo Rules, Angry Birds, Tiny Planets, Total Drama) he has been collaborating with many famous names (Netflix, Super RTL, Canal +, Disney EMEA) for many years.

The fun series with a hyperrealistic 3D look will be powered by state-of-the-art Unreal Engine technology, seventy-eight episodes will provide a fun experience for the whole family without spoken dialogue.

Through seven-minute stories, The Lost Bots show the comically misguided efforts of two lost alien robots - Red and Blu - to leave a tropical island they crashed into with their spaceship. Unlike their home planet Neon, which is inhabited only by machines, there is no trace of technology on the island, so they will have to participate in research to survive in this "strange" environment. As they get to know nature and beings, they will remind us through discoveries and adventures with their heart and humor that we appreciate nature, friendship and the magical world around us.

The project was prepared by creative director Boris Dolenc (former chief creative officer at Outfit7 and executive producer of Talking Tom and Talking Tom and Friends), director Jernej Žmitek (Maček Muri, Cipercoper), animation director Matic Perčič (Maček Muri, Zvitorepec - Pirates) and artistic director Jan Drenovec (My Talking Tom, Hero Dash), and the development was also supported by the Slovenian Film Center.

CAKE CEO Ed Galton said: "We were very impressed with the development and quality of the animation already created by Boris and his team. We look forward to working together and presenting this exciting project to our partners. "

Creative leader Boris Dolenc said: "Lost bots were developed with a lot of love and passion; so we are excited to work with the wonderful CAKE team and we believe that it will develop into something extraordinary. "

Invida CEO Jure Vizjak pointed out: "I am glad that such a successful international partner has recognized the quality of Slovenian production, and I hope that this cooperation will further highlight our domestic artists and make it easier for them to operate in the global market. For our team, the size of the project also represents some symbolism of growing up, as next month we will be celebrating our 18th anniversary. "
